What should I bring to my first appointment?

Does insurance cover this procedure?

Each insurance policy is different. We perform a biomechanical evaluation and submit the “codes” to the Billing Department, who then follow up individually to discuss the findings of coverage availability.

What is the “life expectancy” of the orthosis?

The life expectancy depends on the materials used. Some soft materials compress quickly and need adjustments or replacements periodically. More rigid materials can remain in their original state for years. However, we recommend a maintenance appointment every 6 months or a year. This ensures alignment and cushioning is functioning at its best.

The amount of use and activity level are also factors as to the life expectancy of the orthotic.

Can I call if I have any problems?

Yes! We are more than happy to speak with you on the phone or to schedule an appointment to assist you.

Are you certified?

Yes! Our practitioners are ABC certified and our facility is ABC Accredited.

Do I need a “new” prescription for every visit?

Yes. In most cases, “Doctor's Orders” or prescriptions are mandatory if we are providing a new service or adjustments to an item we did not originally supply.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have a wheelchair for patients to use and a ramp for accessibility.
